(Bonus points for generating those thumbnails for the current folder in some sort of background process. Having said that, I’d love to have a secondary thumbnail view (resizable) that I could use to quickly scroll past stuff I don’t need to deal with immediately. Yes, as others have mentioned the UI feels a little dated when you have to go into menus but once you’re rolling you rarely have to do that. Protip - assign the U key to be undo while you’re at it, because when you’re really flying you’ll occasionally move stuff into the wrong folder. Trash, Favorite, Maybe, etc.) - no fumbling with mouse or trackpad, just focused file-moving workflow. ![]() My personal workflow is to just assign some hotkeys (this is trivially easy in the app) that allow me to keep my fingers on the home row of the keyboard and use J/K to move through the photos (yeah, I’m old school vi that way) and use ASDF hotkeys to move things into different folders (i.e. They all have their uses but when I just want to quickly wade through a folder of photos and do fast fast fast triage I usually turn to Xee.Īnybody that says this isn’t worth $4 is stoned. ![]() I’ve looked at darn near every photo-browsing tool out there I suspect, from Lightroom to Lyn, Photomechanic to Preview, etc. ![]()
